Floater

A Floater is an unassigned stagehand held in reserve — available to assist any department that falls behind or needs an extra hand. The Crew Chief deploys Floaters to wherever the schedule is most at risk. Being a good Floater means reading the room, moving fast, and working in any department without needing extensive direction.
