Fresnel Anatomy

A Fresnel produces a soft-edged wash with a focus knob that slides the lamp closer to or farther from the lens — flood (wide) to spot (narrow). Key parts: lamp housing, Fresnel stepped lens, flood/spot adjustment knob, barn doors (optional), gel frame slot, yoke, and clamp.
