High Pass Filter

The high-pass filter (HPF) cuts frequencies below a set point — typically 80–120 Hz on a microphone channel. Engage it on every vocal and speech mic to remove low-end rumble, handling noise, and HVAC. Leave it off for bass instruments and kick drums.
